Lures as well as baits can be trolled through a range of speeds. Modifying downrigger clips allows for a large range of various sizes of lures and baits to be used.
This 19 lb. New Hampshire Striped Bass took an orange and gold CD 11 Magnum Rapala. The lure was fished off a Z-WING 250 just inside the tidal rip. The changing tidal flows made it critical to keep the lure at a predetermined depth. The Z-WING accommodated the requirement.
This 52 lb. Mexican born Roosterfish took a slow trolled goggle eye fished just off the bottom in 20 feet of water.
